NorCal Guild Committees
All committee members and elected officers are Guild members who volunteer to make this chapter happen. The more you get involved the better our chapter will be. Please check the calendar for upcoming meetings or contact the committee chair. Click on a committee title to read about the efforts of each group and find out how you can get involved.

ADVOCACY: Helps to Pass and Maintain Legislation for the benefit of our members and the Graphic Arts industry.

CHAPTER CONTACT / LIAISON: Builds coalitions with our sister organizations and directs people/organizations to the proper committees.

COMMUNICATIONS: Tells us what is going on locally. Runs the NorCal Guild website and e-newsletters.

EVENTS: Creates one-time events that benefit and engage us.

EXECUTIVE: Annually reviews proposed committee budgets and divides up the available funds. (This committee is comprised of elected Guild members only, all of whom are volunteer officers for the Guild.)

LUNCHEON: Hosts a luncheon event or guest speaker to help inspire or inform us in our business.

MEMBERSHIP: We build the network of members who are the Graphic Artist Guild.

OUTREACH: Sends Guild members to college classrooms and graphic arts organizations to speak about professional business practices and promote awareness of the Guild.

STEERING: Sets the direction and purpose for our chapter.
The Steering Committee is a monthly meeting of the Chairs of all the Chapter Committees, including all the Chapter officers. We convene to discuss the previous month's activities and plan for the next month. All Chapter members are invited (and encouraged!) to attend.
