Events Committee

The Events Committee organizes and hosts one-time events such as a Food Bank volunteer day, a table at Seybold or MacWorld, or whatever you and other members can think of to keep our chapter informed and connected. Events may be small or large, sponsored solely by the Guild or co-hosted with our sister organizations.

You will meet lots of fellow artists, learn how to organize events, and help us build community. The committee would:

Take direction from the Steering Committee and brainstorm event ideas

• Write up event announcements and reviews for electronic and printed media
• Research locations, props, prices, and manage expenses
• Organize and solicit other members to help as needed
