Welcome to the Northern California Chapter of the Graphic Artists Guild!

If you have been a member for some time and haven't heard from anyone, please accept our apologies. Our chapter is run by volunteers who are all working professionals in our non-Guild lives.

The chapter website is a treasure trove of information. Here you will find our member database, and listings for all local events. We also have an archive of columns from our monthly newsletter.

We have bi-monthly events in San Francisco. Topics range from self-promotion and portfolio days to guests speaking on prepress issues, publishing, and the latest developments in online publishing. Check the calendar for dates and details.

Our chapter is run by a dedicated group of volunteers who give their time to keep the chapter running smoothly. One of the greatest benefits of being a member is the the ability to meet other professionals in your field, and volunteering for a committee is the best way to do this. Check the website if you're interested.

I'd also like to invite you to our monthly Steering Committee meeting, which is the meeting of every chair of every local committee, as well as the members of our Executive Committee. We'd love to meet you as soon as possible, in order to put a face with a name!
